I recently saw Bumblebee at the cinema and I bought the album of songs featured in the film. I love 80s music, and therefore love the album. My favourite track is Back to Life (80s Remix) by Hailee Steinfeld from Bumblebee (Motion Picture Soundtrack). Now I want 80s Remixes of every song.

Over the past week I’ve searched for 80s Christian music and here are my three favourite Christian 80’s albums.

Petra – Beat The System (1984)

I think Witch Hunt and Beat The System are classic 80s, even though the album doesn’t sound like the classic rock of Petra.

Amy Grant – Unguarded (1985)

Amy’s first foray into mainstream came with a classic 80s feel from tracks like Sharayah and Everywhere I Go.

David Meece – Count The Cost (1983)

This album surprised me, it’s not classic 80s throughout, but tracks like Pressing On and Today Is The Day surprised me with their 80s feel.
