I love music. I had my own radio show for two years, and I chose all the music. Although this stopped, I still grew my own music collection. I couldn’t tell you how many CD’s I have stored under my bed, but it’s a lot. Often I’ll find an album or song that I put on repeat, and it’s the only thing I listen to until the next one comes along.

The idea for Wait! What? Worship. came from doing this over and over until it dawned on me that I should share this song with you. I used to share music on my radio show, and now it’s time to share music with you again.

When I play an album or song again and again I do so because it inspires me. And if it inspires me, chances are, it’ll inspire you too.

The music I listen to most affirms my faith in Christ and the life I live as a Christian. But that doesn’t limit the style of music. I listen to Rock, Pop, Rap, Hymns, EDM, Instrumental, Metal, A Capella and everything in between. I’m sure that sooner or later you’ll like a song that inspires me.

I’m going to share a song every week. Generally it’ll be the song I’ve had on repeat that week, but sometimes I might just pull a song out of my head that I feel you need to hear. Sometimes the song will be new, other times it’ll go way back, it really just depends what I feel like sharing.

With every song I share I’ll also tell you why it inspires me. Sometimes it’ll be the lyrics, other times it’ll be when I heard it, or I just really like the album, but had to choose one song.

I pray that these songs inspire you, just like they inspire me to continue living for Christ.
